Lucy is a Scottish actress who trained at the the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. She has an MA with merit in Acting, Classical and Contemporary Text.
Since graduating she has performed opposite Ed Byrne in a comedy short for the BBC; filmed the role of Gemma in the new Scottish feature film from Mark Millar (Kick Ass); played the lead role in BAFTA New Talent Award winning film 'Spring Forward, Fall Back'; performed the role of Marianne in 'Tartuffe' at Oran Mor’s A Play, a Pie and a Pint (dir. Tony Cownie) and played Lavinia in 'Titus Andronicus' at Bard in the Botanics.
Lucy has just started rehearsals for the role of Sorcha in new play, 'The Idiot at the Wall', which will be performed at the Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh in May/June. She has just finished a run at the Short Sweet Shock new writing festival at Summerhall, Edinburgh and recently filmed short; The Power of the Dogs, with Arpeggio Pictures.
Credits include Flora in 'Reminded of Beauty' (Linda McLean), Tron, Traverse and Hampstead Theatre; Cordelia/ the Fool in 'King Lear', Shakespeare in the City Festival 2009 and Juliet during a residency at Globe Education.
